Back in 2010 mother of two – Racheal searched for a fitness class, (after having her first baby) found pole classes, signed up to a beginners course and loved it. Following on to teaching classes of her own. Over 8 years Racheal has welcomed and created a community of pole enthusiasts here in Galway through her classes at Pole garage Ireland . She loves teaching and helping others progress. Racheal teaches pole dancing classes with and without heels. Racheal holds a variety of skills as a pole instructor and mastered skills both static pole, spin pole and in heels – with a list of credentials and achievements. Racheal has done many things for the pole community throughout the years such as sponsoring pole competitions, organising pole dance events and providing many opportunities for others.

Lisa

Certified – Beginner Pole instructor.

Certified Yoga instructor.

Lisa is from Germany but found her home here in Ireland. She
started pole dancing at Pole Garage Ireland in 2016 and was hooked
after completing the beginners program. Lisa loves to stay active & has a
background in different types of dance. She takes ballet &
performs in musicals when she’s not at pole class. She trains 3 times
a week on the pole since she started at the garage. Her favourite
element of pole is spinning pole. Lisa has stage experience too, having performed with Racheal at Electric Picnic many times and at our pole dance show Pole Garage “After Dark” here in Galway.

Lisa is a new mom of one and has a dog and horse too, when she’s not on the pole she’s super busy as you can imagine. Lisa’s motto is doing what you love through movement.

How the studio was named…..

---

Racheal worked in the motor industry and wanted to be a motorbike mechanic when she left school at 16, but no such course existed in Ireland. She took a training course involving work in a garage. She learned how to weld, spray paint, some light car mechanics and how to fix damaged cars. Lucky for her during the training course she was given a project to rebuild a motorbike (Kawasaki ZX6) from road bike to a racetrack bike. She learned how to repair and spray paint the petrol tank, bike panels and much more! After some work experience she went on to become a panel beater with Toyota Ireland, working and passing exams while pregnant with her son she became fully qualified in the trade. Racheal has worked in many local garages and dealerships here in Galway!
Today her studio Pole Garage Ireland is a representation of her dedication and hard work. And a vision that anything is possible if you put your mind to it, once you believe in yourself.
